ya 285 on a narrower rim with -1.4* camber. a 285 on a 11" rim will stretch slightly giving you a lil more room to the fender well. thats why i'd get an 11" +24 offset or +20 with a touch more camber.

All I can ask, is what size tire you are running because I figure you're probably not running anything wider than 275/35 on the rear, but you could also be running a 265 or a 255 as well. If I run a 285 in the back, I may not have the same kind of clearance as you to run a more aggressive offset. plus like I said, based on houstons picture above I'm content with that, if I'm not after install, a 5mm spacer ought to fix it then.

so Im torn again on wheel sizing and tire sizing. Once I saw Houstons pictures of his 19x11, 285/35 setup I thought I was set. Now after looking at other wheel/tire threads Im beginning to think the 285 on 11-inch rim is too stretched for my liking. I'm now considering the option of going with 19x10+20 front and back with 275/35 all around.

The 19x10+20 bumps out the same as the 19x11 I was considering, but potentially puts more tire to the ground because its less of a stretch compared to the 285/35 on the 11 width.

The stretch issue is even worse with the stagger setup because if I do go with a 19x10 front with 255/35 its an even bigger stretch compared to the 19x11/285 combo.

So what do you guys think between the two options or am I worrying over nothing?
19x10+20 with 275/35/19 front and rear (will 275/35/19 even fit up front?)
or
19x10+20 front with 255/35/19 and 19x11+33 with 285/35/19.

why don't you go 19x10 275/30/19 and 19x11 295/30/19? I don't recommend running 275/35/19 all around at all. That front tire is an inch taller than stock

thats just in the front and even then the 275/35 is only about 1/2-in taller in O.D., the rear size I would think is more important and the 275/35 is again within a few tenths of what the OEM sizes are.

In truth they are all close, but the I'd rather have a slightly larger tire to fill out a gap rather than get one too short creating a larger gap. My suspension height is not adjustable and I could honestly use that extra height for some scrape insurance.

Here's all of the size comparison written out against the OEM 18-in coupe sizes:

OEM 225/45 and 245/45/18:
25.9 @ 804 front
26.7 @ 780 rear

275/35/19 is
26.5 @ 785

255/35/19 is
26 @ 795

285/35/19 is
26.7 @ 780

295/30/19 is
26.1 @ 792

275/30/19 is
25.6 @ 801

The more and more I think about it, I'm not gaining much in tire performance going with the 285/35 19x11 combo versus a 275/35, 19x10 combo.

Im restricting myself to these wheel sizes because I want the concave face they offer. If i were to switch up to a more typical stagger of 19x9 with 19x11or10 I'd have different faces which I dont want.

I seriously dont know which way to go, I still have some time to sort it out before I have all the funds aligned.

Its tough, its just one of those things I'll have to gamble on and then make it work.

bumping my thread since I got the tires mounted to the wheels today (sorry Im a loser with no pictures of it).

I ended up going with the following:
19x10+20 front with 255/35/19 Hankook Ventus V12 EVO
19x11+33 rear with 295/30/19 Hankook Ventus V12 EVO

Comments to add, the Hankooks def run a little wider compared to other tires from what I've seen in other peoples pictures from various forums, that was welcomed news for me because I was worried I was going to have too much of a stretched look on my fronts which I didnt really want. Also the front and rear tires have the same overall diameter of 26" which is just over .5" more compared to what my OEM wheels have on there now (235/40/18).

The wheels front to rear also stick out the same amount despite their 13mm difference in offset (35mm towards the fender vs stock). If I feel I want more flushness with the rear I'll add a 5-10mm spacer, but I think it should be fine. I hope to have pictures tomorrow to distribute in the proper threads!

My car is running 19x10 and 19x11 +15 all around with no issues
Tires are 245/35 and 275/30
They fit nicely, but then again my car has about -2.5^ camber up front and almost -4 in the rear LOL. PM me your number and i can send pics of fitment.
