Need your Thoughts on these Rims!!!

well I have been looking into some new rims and I have been working with a guy through email and phone whose parents own Asanti Rims. He was talking to me about some wheel's etc and is wanting to get more into the import scene such as our cars and 350z etc....provide more of a line for us then the rims they sell on there websites. Anyways I know that alot of people stick with volk, work, etc...well I worked with him and designed these rims through a model they already have available. I wanted to get your thoughts on the look.

It reminds me a of a set of Volks or Works. Let me know what you think. Im working on maybe a sponsorship/assistance with them on getting them going on Forums since they typically dont deal alot with them.

They will be custom built for my car first off but Im thinking of a more agreesive offset....+10 in the rear +14 in the fronts. 19x8.5 or 9.5 trying to determine and maybe a 19x10.5 or 11.

Or should I go with less spokes?? more of a 5 spoke type rim?

Would they be light? And would the lips be polished or chromed?

I know there is a chrome, black, brushed, and any color facing you want. That is what they offer from there website when building the rims

I am not totally 100% Sure yet...I am going to speak with him tomorrow on the phone again.

Those are beautiful rims, I'd rather see them highly polished rather than chrome just for the weight savings....and looks! My thoughts.

They make nice wheels, but I have never thought of them as a performance wheel company. They are known more for huge sizes and appications blinged out cars and SUVs.

Asanti's are very good looking wheels, but for the price, quality lacks. I have a customer that has some 20" Asanti's on his SL500 and he is back every couple weeks swaping out his stock wheels because the 3pc seal leaks. We have sent every wheel out to be re-sealed and they still leak. Also, their chrome tends to chip very easily. Just my experiences with them.
