Rim offsets?????

I am looking for some 20's and would like to know what is the minium offsets or size that I could go with rims so that they would clear the brembos without adding spacers...what are the offsets of the stock 18s that come with the brembos? and than also, how would spacers help than???
I was told the lower the number the deeper the rim or lip would be especially if it goes into the negative.
Just trying to clear it up...I dont want to buy some rims thinking they would clear my brembos and see that they dont.

Sorry for the noob question but couldnt get the exact answer in the search.

depends on the disk size not offsets!!!

Measure from hub to outside a brake caliper and thats the amount of clearance you need. I don't have brembos so im not sure but ima guess you need around 1.25" for the front and prob a inch or so in the rear.
Hopefully someone with brembos can chime in and help you an exact measurement!!!

You should be fine with +17 up front and +18 rear.

Pad height and spoke design is the deciding factor for brake clearance and NOT offset. Calipers have A/B/C measurements if you want to get technical in regards to caliper clearance.

Unless you're a wheel ***** and want THE most aggressive offset to clear BBk, then just order whatever wheels you want for BBK clearance from the vendor.

I'd say 99% of the time, nobody even knows what these measurements are when they are ordering wheels.

You can see in that picture "ET" is the offset.
