alignment really necessary on a lowered car?

I've had my car lowered on tein s-techs for a long time now and never got an alignment. Is it really necessary? I do not notice anything weird about it while driving all these years. Been driving with it lowered with my stock michellin pilot sports for about 15k miles now.

Did you see any significant tire wear? It is highly recommended!

I would say yes. The tires may end up wearing unevenly(shoulder wear).

yes. its not worth doing through a hell of a load of tires. Did you do a camber kit?

if you don't care about premature tire wear, just leave it.

On a slammed lowered car, a full camber and toe kitted wheel alignment will also make the car handle much better and feel more stable. An unaligned vehicle feels like a squirrel with marbles for feet.

When I dropped my car not only was my camber way off, but my toe in the rear was really bad. So much so that my tires were throwing black rubber soot all over the back of my car. I actually thought it was brake dust because there was so much of it.

drove my old audi after being slammed w/o an alignment. chewed thru $2k worth of tires in 20,000 miles. alignment is cheap insurance in my eyes.

Is this a trick question? How much $$$ are you prepared to shell out for replacement tires?
