Going from fender roll to shaving fender.
Going from fender roll to shaving fender.
I was wondering if it's still possible to get your fender shaved after its been rolled? Have anyone done this and what kind of problem can occur? I can't seem to get a super flat roll on on my rear fender to get more clearence so I think shaving is the next best option.

I've never seen a shave get more room than a roll, and even then, a shave causes the fender to lose it's strength. If you heat it up enough, you should be able to roll it completely flat.

^^^I thought about it but I'm fearing that my fender will flare out too much if I keep on rolling it. Its already flared out quite a bit with the innner fender bending at ~35 deg. I've seen very flared out fender from excessive rolling and it doesn't look clean to me. If you look at the part where the fender meets the bumper...it looks like there's a small break/detatchment from too much force do to rolling.
if you're careful you can cut them "flat"

^^^the guy just used a dremel..
and i feel the exact same way about rolling fenders. ive never seen a fender rolled flat that wasnt flared out a bit...looks ghey IMO.
