General Exclaim UHP (just got em!)

Just bought a set of General Exclaim UHP 225/50 17 for my '03 Sedan and could not be happier.

I have done the full spectrum of tires and wanted a new brand I had not had before, so....after spending some time on Tire Rack, pulled the trigger:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=1

total cost, shipped and installed was roughly $110 a tire.

Tires were $97 a piece, with a $60 rebate.

Ride is whisper quiet with tremendous grip at all speeds.

Super satisfied with both Tire Rack and more importantly these tires!

W00T!

Unfortunately, the Exclaim UHPs did not work well for me on my 04 Coupe. I also purchased them on tirerack. The VDC was constantly kicking in and I found the sidewalls extremely soft.(the size was the appropriate 235/50/17 for my rears) Tirerack was great for taking them back and gave me a full credit less the shipping. I'm sure they will work better on your sedan as your tires are not staggered. I replaced them with Hankook Ventus and no longer have any issues. You should be fine with your sedan and you can't go wrong with the price. Good luck.

That's a bummer. I am kinda glad I didn't have staggered tires with this.

Definitely loving these.

Went for a spirited drive on Sunday through some of my favorite deserted windy roads, and let me say these things have tremendous grip!!!

I was in 3rd gear doing about 60 and was whipping this thing through some pretty good twisties without a peep from the tires. Not even a hint of their limits, and definitely fun to say the least.

So far so good, posted a review on Tire Rack as well.

Reading this review, it's obvious you haven't tried very many other high-performance tires.

I've probably had more sets of perf tires than you've had cars....what's your point?

My point is obvious. Why ask questions you already know the answer to?

Also, reread your analogy. FAIL.
