HELP : Tein S.Tech

I just ordered Tein S.Tech springs for my GF's coupe. I was discussing this topic with Gsedan35 for info and he recommended that I go with 350z S.Tech's instead. What I want to know is, for those who have G35 coupe S.Tech's on their car, what do you think of the look. Is front 1.2" too low? Considering adding an OEM lip later later on in the future.

Can anyone post pics of Tein S.Tech's on their G coupe please with stock wheels? If you have pictures of your G coupe with 350z S.Tech's that would be great as well.

I have only a few days to change my order between G coupe or 350z S.Tech's. H.Tech's are not low enough. Thank you for your help.

It's still a G thang!!

Re: HELP : Tein S.Tech

why are you getting the 350z s.techs? The spring rates on those are stiffer, and it doesnt drop the car as low as the ones for the g35c...

Re: HELP : Tein S.Tech

Yeah...more stiff is better and I wanted to know if the S.Tech's for the coupe are too low for the front? I have 1" Eibach's on my sedan and I scratch the front from time to time. Just wanted some opinion from people who have the G coupe S.Tech's. Pictures are welcome as well...thanks!!

g35 tein s-techs with oem lip. the lip doesnt really make the front any lower, it just elongates the bottom bumper.

Wow G4s, looks really good.. The whole factory aero kit looks really hot on the coupe, its the mud gaurds or whatever that gives the coupe extra lines. Lookin good, Martin

Re: HELP : Tein S.Tech

ok this is weird, for those of you s.techs, did ANY of you cut off 1 inch off your front bumpstops like it said in the TEIN manual? I didn't and i notice my front has more of a gap in the front than the back. I can fit 1 finger in the back and like 1 1/2 finger in the front. Look like some of your pics the nose seems to dip down in the front... mine doesnt do that though, are you spose to cut it? will it make my front lower if i cut it? please help! arghhh...

moog:
YOU have awesome pics

ill:
thats a really old picture. rumble asked for oem rims. anyways here is a more recent pic. took off the side moldings for a sportier look. and hopefully the mud guards will be replaced by my ings kit in a month or so.

euro:
i had my friend cut my bumpstops maybe 1/2" or so. not the full recommended length. these should not affect the ride height unless youre shocks are completely gone. some people have not even bothered cutting these and claim no problems ensued. if you just got your springs installed, you need to allow them to settle. maybe then you'll get the results you expected, but ive never done the finger measure. also depends on the specs of your tires. i have 275/30 on the rear instead of 275/35.

Re: HELP : Tein S.Tech

allow them to settle? But I heard that the tein springs wont settle much, 5mm if any... thats barely noticeable? Or do they actually settle more? seems like your drop the nose goes down more in the front? mine is pretty much even stance...

g4s > Your car looks AMAZING. Don't know if you have one already from these pictures, but a CF hood would complete the gun metal vs. black look. DAYAM!! No side moldings = sweet

everyone > Thanks, but are your springs S.Tech's for the G coupe of 350z? haha!! Do you think that I'm worrying over nothing?
