Fitment question?

Just bought a stock 06 coupe and was interested in getting some new wheels. I am clueless when it comes to offsets, etc so I would appreciate any input. A friend is selling some 19's and here is the staggered set up:

front: 19 x 8.5 offset42
rear: 19 x 9.5 offset 42

Tires are 235. Will this fit? Thanks to everyone in advance.

235/?/19

+42 offset will be pretty weak, the rims will tuck in too much and you dont want that look, do you? my opion is to keep your stock rims no matter they are 18s or 19s, still better than those 19s with weak offsets.

It helps if you understand the basic concept of offset.

So basically the higher the offset is, the less lip you have on the wheel and the more tucked in the wheel will be. If you want you wheel to be flush with your fender, or even to stick out a bit, then you want low offset.

Weak offset:

Agressive offset:
