T1S 19 or 20" performance

Hi, I'm trying to decide if I should go with 19 or 20" in the T1S. I like the way the 20" look but I'm afraid the 20s will drop my pw by a lot compared to the 19". Is there a big performance difference by going with 20 vs 19?

Here is a link to a post I did when testing out the performance loss for wheels.

https://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-d...ms-dyno-3.html

Back to back dynos, 18s vs 20s. Results loss 8.8hp and 12.3tq. This is a load dyno so you may not see this on a non LC series Dynojet.

EDIT: Just an FYI, dynos were done on a mustang.

Looks-wise, T1S step lip 20's are the best imo.

just go with 20s. i mean can you really feel THAT much difference in a few HP loss?

i really didn't when i went from 19s to 20s.

unless you're tracking the car or taking it to the strip, then go with 20s. you won't regret it

T1S are a little heavy to begin with. Though im usually never a fan of 20's, the T1S is one of the few that are exempt from that. Those wheels are (imo) made to be used as 20's... well, atleast they look best in that size for the G.

I agree as well, that 20s do look a lot better. From day to day driving I really can't tell the difference between these and my 18s. However if you launch your car, there is a huge difference. Also if you are a dyno queen then you can always switch out to your smaller wheels when that time comes With the power you are putting to the wheels, you probably should get super wide tires. What do you have now?

-Only get 20's if you'e getting step lip <---this looks best, given you dont choose pvssy offsets
- 19's of you want straight lip!

Hey guys, I have a 05 maxima and we pretty much have the same bolt pattern.
My wheels are 20x10 +40 offeset all round with 275/30/20. I'm changing the back
tires to 285/30 or 285/35. What are most of you guys running 30 or 35 series?
