I've heard of a few people that have rubbing issues with this set up, but not so many that it would scare people away from it.
I don't understand this "looks" argument. Almost no one runs 245/40/19 or 255/40/19 in the front when running 19's, but all of a sudden when people go to 20's they want to run 245/35/20. I don't get it

What's not to understand? It fills the wheel well nicely, doesn't rub for most people, and provides a little more cushion. Fairly straightforward

In my case i have to run a 245/35 in the front because im going to be running a 10 inch wide front and the 30 will not be beefy enough..

It doesn't make sense because no one uses that logic when discussing 19" wheels. Many of the same people who now run 245/35/20 ran 245/35/19 before upgrading. Based on this logic they should have been running 245/40/19, but no one ever did or recommended it.

interesting thread...because most people on this forum are running 245/35/20 for the front.
im wondering, do most of them have rubbing issues in the front with this tire size..because i don't recall seeing anyone talking about this issue too much.

I was rubbing on 245/35/20, but it's very minimal though, pretty much just surface rub.

ya from the old post ppl are running more 245/35/20 than they are running 245/30/20. I guess if u are dropped lowered than 350z H tein then u need thinner tires.

245 35 looks to tall... ive ran 255 30 and it looks a lot better to me... I wonder what a 225 35 20 would look like only people running that size have it stretched on a 9.5

i was running 245/35/20 in the front with eibach pro's and it only rubbed on big dips or uneven pavement.once they settled the rubbing got worse.but it only rubbed on a small portion of the inner fender lining.u could just notch a section out of the lining or run a 30 series tire like i did and no more problems.just harsher or stiffer cause of the less cushion from the tire but u know what they say,"GO HARD OR GO HOME".

I've run 245/35/20 before, as have others. Although not ideal, it doesn't always rub. Depends on your drop, wheel width/offset, and camber.
