I can't comment on the 912s but I have the FK452s on my summer rims and after only two summers they're pretty much shot. They were fairly quiet when new but towards the end of last summer they started to get very loud. Handling was still pretty good but the noise was almost to the point of being unbearable. When I switched to my winter tires they were actually quieter than the 452s. So they lasted maybe 18,000 kms and I'm not a particularly aggressive driver. Needless to say I'll be looking for replacement summer rubber when the weather warms up. They really weren't all that cheap either.

ive tried Toyo proxes TR1 very excelent grip wet or dry hands down but the tread life sux *** they fade quickly but continental tires are bad *** cause those get tested in wet n dry surfaces and handle great and the tread life lasts along time they are also light weight try the Continental contisport vmax they have been tested from 0to220MPH they have long tread life excelent grip on wet surface and better on Dry they are perfromance tires for test track and street performance. i recomend them cause i use to have them on my 1st g coupe b 4 some drunk **** wrecked it with me in it i wanted to buy them fo my 2nd coupe but i havnet had the chance lol

I went through 2 sets of rear tires in a YEAR when I had FK452s. Not worth the money. I got a lot more life out of the Yokohama S Drives.

About to try a set of General Exclaim UHPs. Flame away but when you go through rears like I do, you don't want to spend **** on them.
