I think alot of members on G35driver will give Falken FK452's the big thumbs up (). I took that recommendation and love my Falkens.....just not sure about the model you speak of, if it is supposed to be better, than by all means buy it and give us a good review!

I'm just a bit curious to see what other tires you've had on the G that you have felt lasted longer? In terms of price, they are quite a bit cheaper than Toyo T1R's, which come also highly recommended from forum users.

Stick like glue, go like stink, wear like Chinese Tennis Shoes.

I had a set of TS 115's and they wore our almost as fast as the stock potenzas did. I got about 20K out of them. The potenzas lasted about 16K.

The best tires on my sedan so far have been Goodyears. I had a set of Eagle RS-A's that were great and now I have a set of Eagle GT's that I really love. The have a UTOG rating of 400 and they still stick like bubble gum.

Car and Driver did a 10 tire comparison in current issue using the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 as the benchmark. It was a middle performer despite its very high price tag. Actually, the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO did exceptionally well in dry and wet handling, has a pretty high tread life, low noise and low weight... all unusual for a high performance tire. Think I'm going to look at those when my Pilot Sports are done.

I've had Falken on different cars, as well as Dunlop. Decent but not exceptional.

On my 2nd set of Fk452's. Not bad for the money. Just wish it had more tread life. I'm gonna try the yoko S Drives next. Hopefully they last longer than 452's.

RS-A are pretty good in the dry but once you add some water even in the damp they suck.

I've got FK452's and love them... They slip a little more when wet than the stock michelins I got with the car but for the price you can't beat them.

Nobody has really chimed in on what the OP had been asking regarding the 912's except for LMG_35C.

I just bought a set of 912's for my OEM 18's. It all really depends on your expectations with the tire and how long you want them to last. The 912's have good reviews all over, and I got a great price from Don@TireOption.

That interesting because I had the exact opposite opinion about them. I put them on and we went to our first Raging Bull Texas Stampede. The first day was in the rain for about 3 hours, I love them. Never felt like I was going to hydroplane at all, even at double the speed limit.
