tpms on highway question...

Anyone know why my flat tire light goes on when Im on the highway for more than 30 min? No flat tire beep, but the light does show up when ive driven more than 30 miles on highway. But when I start car up next time, they are fine. Is there some heating issue? I have 19" volks on Kumho ecstas, and as far as I can see there are no dents or bends, and tire punctures. Been doing it for a while now, just wondering if it was possibly the TPMS, or some other issue. Any ideas?

Air expands under heat, so if anything a low pressure light would be on in the morn and go off a few miles down the road when the tire warms up. Did you replace the sensors with the new wheels or use the OE ones? If new, they have to be initialized at the dealer.

Might be a faulty sensor. Reset the pressures cold in the morn and try again. If it still happens dealer might need to reset or replace a sensor. We carry them as well. Possibly damaged when the new wheels/tires were installed.

one of the sensors could be bad or have a dead battery so its not reporting. In the winter when I run my TPMSless wheels the light will come on after about 30 mins just as you describe.
