Black Lug Nuts

I just got my Volk Le37-T rims in yesterday and I was wondering if anyone has found a good set of black lugnuts? I want to get kyokugen but all i can seem to find are open end lugs. Can anyone help me?

Re: Black Lug Nuts

Kyokugen are crap...the key is fragile and can break on you. Look at volk duraluminum or even McGard. I have a set of chrome McGard lugs & locks on my 20" iForged.

Re: Black Lug Nuts

Go for the Rays anodized wheel nuts. Kinda pricey but, will definitely match your wheels!

Re: Black Lug Nuts

I have the rays and they are great. They are a little pricey but when you feel how light they are...

Remember...sometimes you get what you pay for....
But check on eBay....I saw some decent ones recently.

Re: Black Lug Nuts

Sorry. I wanted light weight and great quality. Don't want to skimp on something that keeps the wheels on your car.

In that price range I'd suggest the mcgards. They have a good rep and they aren't terribly expensive.

Re: Black Lug Nuts

I don't know the size of your lug nuts, but the ones that came with my Nismo wheels (made by Rays) are black. I'd rather have chrome. Mine have a 17mm head because they go into a recessed hole. I've attached a photo of one. Check out the bottoming circle, do they look the same? They are all perfect. Let me know if you're interested in a trade.

Re: Black Lug Nuts

I'm glad someone brought this topic up, because I have been wondering about a set that I noticed in a mag. The car was a new Mitsu. Evo with... ...possibly Volk CE28Ns (polished)... ...and it was the lugs that really spiced up the rims. They were open-ended I believe (closed would be nice) and they were made of titanium. Lightweight, and with the bluish tint toward the ends (I guess they were burnished?) they looked GREAT! They would really complement the tips on a titanium exhaust.

Anyway, if anybody has a line of something like those lugs, please speak up. I plan on Bronze Volk CE28Ns and figure the titanium would look better than black and definately better than chrome.
