hi all
i did search the forum and it showed that some people do drive without the TPMS installed.
this was ok and the light comes on only after a long drive.

is there anything else that i should take note of if i dont use TMPS?

many thanks in advance

I drive all winter on tires/wheels with no TPMS.

does your TPMS light always stay on or it only comes on after those long drives?

It comes on as soon as the car's ECU realizes it's not getting TPMS readings, and it stays on all the time. You get used to ignoring it. If it bugs you, buy a used set of sensors.

its just a sensor that tells you if the tire pressure is low, just like the sensor for vdc and such, but its kinda easy to figure out, tire pressure monitor sensor

once again i didnt mean any insult, just wanted to insert some common sense into this thread but naw ur fine man

if you dont feel comfortable without it just have them put into the new wheels or w.e. n u'd be good

but no there isnt anything really that would cause the car to lock up due to a sensor, what you have to watch out for are the abs and vdc sensors and if they go off
