Cool 18" front wheels, used on rear, 2007 Sport

First off, I searched the forums, but couldn't find anything specific, so I figured I would ask:

I have a 2007 Sport. I currently have the staggered OEM 18's. Can I purchase two additional front wheels and use them on the rear? That would allow me to rotate and get more life out of my tires? I am not sure if the off sets are the same and/or if there would be a problem running the front sizes on the rears?

Thanks.

you could do that, but it would look funny since the offset will now be the same and the rears will look like they are inside the fender more

i think your best option if you want more life out of your tires is to get stiffer tires and to take the tires off the wheels and swap them, that setup will probly give you at least 10k miles more, i'm doing that right now and these are the longest lasting set yet (put about 15k to 20k already) and looking at the tread i should be going strong for at least another 15k miles (just letting you know, getting around 20k miles on tires for our cars is good)

Given the different offset, I think it's 5 mm difference, could I use some rear spacers? Would they work and have the same appearance?

you can use spacers but sometimes using spacers causes your wheels to shake

What would be the right spacer size for the rears to have the same original factory look?

Thanks

i'm not sure best way to find out how much you need for the look you want is to take that front wheel off and put it in the back and measure it. that takes away the guess work
