The Michelin is a touring tire, Yoko a sport tire. Typically the touring would be the more quiet and longer lasting option, but in this case that particular Michelin isn't a great tire. They will provide a better ride, maybe slightly quieter... but the wear/all season/wet traction, etc isn't good at all. They are put on cars as original equipment tires and perform average at best.
Of the two I would much rather see you in the Yokohama for across the board performance.
Like Gdup said, I'd move to a 225 or 245 for lot better options like Bridgestone Turanza Serenity, Kumho LX Platinum, and Michelin Primacy MXV4.

I have the Kumho LX Platinum that comes with the G, 215/55R17 .......that aint some good tire in my experience.....slip light turn all the time when i do a slightly hard corner. Guess I should get the Yoko................W4S or Pirelli PZero Nero 225/45R18 ~similar price

I just got a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus on my 05 6MT Coupe. These are unbelievable tires, the best I've ever had. They smooth out the bumps and grip the road better than the Potenzas I had on there.
