Hey guys,

Very frustrated and looking for some answers. After switching from OE wheels to aftermarket I have noticed the steering wheel has been vibrating at high speeds. Also, around 60km/h the cabin shakes in a front to back motion. When on the highway, vibrating wheel and passenger seat comes in around 80km/h then dies down, then picks up at 100km/h then dies back down, then really picks up at 120km/h. Is my car out of balance? I was thinking a road force balance might resolve the issue?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

This topic really frustrates the crap outta me... I took my G into NTB to have a balance done and it was worse than before. Had to take it to the dealer to finally get it right. I don't understand what's so hard about balancing?

Unfortunately not that simple the wheels must be round and laterally tru to oem specs then you can mount tires and balance them. Assuming rotors are not warped and wheel bearings are not shot.

I had a similar problem with a different car. New wheels vibrated had rebalanced several times nothing worked even went to dealer and had them check. They said wheel were out of round and junk not so. The real problem was the center hole was to large and would not center the wheel this caused bad vibrations and would not go away. THEY MAKE SPECIAL RINGS FOR THIS problem but not for my car had to buy new wheels and problem went away.
