Re: Would you reccomend HP Racing Wheels?
I'm not sure if I'd recommend them, but that old adage " you get what you pay for" comes to mind. with that being said, i've been fiending on those evo/lightnings for about 4 months now.
it looks like the guy who posted that link is usually the only seller on ebay for that brand. there was also another guy on here (big_h) out of canada, who also sold that brand. if i had a job right now, i'd be all over those wheels....

Re: Would you reccomend HP Racing Wheels?
I've been looking at them too. It looks like he is only offering them in 38mm offset all the way around.
I posted here asking about that offset and got a response that the tires wouldn't sit flush to the body but would be sunk in. I don't know how they came up with that or how to calculate that for myself or I would have. I was hoping someone had that offset and would post pics.

Re: Would you reccomend HP Racing Wheels?
this wheels is no longer available for that car also keep in mind if any car here has brembos then the hp ar outta the question furthermore these wheels qulaity as far as finish is concered is really not too good ... good from far but far from good i have a used set i sold to some guy for a whopping 300 dollar rims and tires in 19 inches because no one wants them .......................... here in MIAMI FLORIDA they put this rim on anything so maybe this is why they are not so hot down here because the manufacturer is resides in miami florida .... maybe thats why people do not like the rim is because its BURNED OUT

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. This was kind of a dead topic for a while. I am leaning towards giving these rims a try. I just have to nail down the offset issue.
Is there anyone out there that knows what the correct offset for our coupes should be? I want to retain the OEM stance as much as possible. It woundn't be the end of the world if the wheels came out just a tad either to sit flush with the wheel well
Thx again!

Re: Would you reccomend HP Racing Wheels?
Hey, I have those exact rims, for my coupe. They are sweet but you're right the offset is not too good. The front rims look bad, hard to explain.
Re: Would you reccomend HP Racing Wheels?
"hard to explain".
Well a photo is worth a thousand words.
The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!

Re: Would you reccomend HP Racing Wheels?
Well digital cameras don't grow on trees, now do they.
Basically my offset is off, so the wheels like like they are inside the car. So picture the body of the car, then the wheels are inside about an inch or so in the front instead of being in a straight line down the body of the car.
Does that make any sense? If it doesn't I'll try and bum one of my friends cameras to post some pics.
