TPMS Sensor question
Because then i would have to pay somebody to take em off the old wheels, I thought it be easier to just buy another set. Plus I think one of them is bad, my sensor keeps on going off. It would go off, clear itself and then go off again. Is it bad if i just leave the sensors off?
if you do alot of city driving/short trips then I wouldnt worry about the dash light. Its only comes on after about 30-45 mins of driving. Everytime you restart the car it turns off.

where do u locate? u could carry aftermarket TPMS sensor at BELLE Tire or Mavis Tire, it could cover 90% vehicle models, also it quite cheap(it only cost$30~40 each sensor), but u could make a call making sure ur car is 100% compatible. I've installed one sensor for my G35
when mine came on and stayed on. I have to reset the ECU to clear the alert and then it will wait 30-45 mins to turn on. But once its on - it stays on..sux..I hate it..but will get fixed soon..I just need to find the time.
you can get a full set for around $100 or less on here or ebay. my tmps light only come on after about an hour of driving then resets itself when its off.
You can also order the aftermarket sensors from here: http://www.revolutionsupply.com/(S(2.../AppGuide.aspx and get either the OEM for $88.77, the generic OEM for $65.31 or the aftermarket for $35.62. The aftermarket also includes everything in the $3.99 Service Kit that you would also need to purchase if you go with the OEM or the generic OEM version too.
This site manufacturers the OEM tire sensors for Infiniti. If you decide on the OEM sensors, they are 1/2 the cost the dealership would charge you per sensor too.
Installing the new sensors is super easy to do. Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes to mount with minimal tools. I believe you have to tighten down to 10in lbs.

It's no good to purchase without installation service, Asian-manufactured cars have to equip reprogrammable OBD tool, but it's too expensive to keep even tire chain store got few or none.
What I got is sensor without ID(also provide you new ID as usual), you could just key in OLD ID into NEW sensor, OR reprogram sensors by cheaper tool "ID programmer".

Ok I read this thread but let me ask this the aftermarket tpms sensor is it for aftermarket wheels or just OEM wheels because the OEM sensor does not fit my aftermarket wheels and I'm searching for sensors that do so I don't have to switch wheels every year to pass emissions.
