Snow tire sizes for 17" coupe wheels
I picked up a set of OEM coupe 17" wheels for my '04 coupe with the performance tire / wheel package to use for mounting snows. I have searched the list archives on snow tires, and see that people have used a few different tire sizes. Stock is 225/50 front (17x7.5 rim) and 235/50 rear (17x8 rim). Outside of stock sizes, I have seen people running 225/50 snows up front, and 225/55 in the rear, or 225/55 all around. Many people buy aftermarket wheels for their snows, and generally do not post rim widths. I could only find two snows that come in both stock sizes (Pirelli SnowSport 210s and Blizzak LM-22s), but the selection increases greatly if you include 225/55 in the mix. For those running stock 17" coupe wheels (or those with aftermarket 7.5" wide front and 8" wide rear rims), what size snows are you running?

Re: Snow tire sizes for 17" coupe wheels
I have been searching on this info for a while also and found no anwser.
Either we have too much information in this section and they are all in mixed up in threads some where, or everyone is just too busying showing off their 19 inches Volks.
I would like to know also what's the exact offset on the 17's I have to get to put over the Brembo brakes.
If someone can shine some lights that would be greatly appreciated.

I also can't find any dialogue on the subject of our 17s that were oem. AFAIK, 225/50/17 can be found in 4 season tires that are overpriced. Hankook Ventus has a H rated tire for cheap, tho maybe not desirable.
225/55/17 is another rare one to price out; I use this size on an AUdi, and am very happy with Yoko H4S tires that are H rated. Waiting to test them in snow.

Me at Infiniti Dealer-"I'm doubleparked in my Gc,I need some brochures." As I walk out, they ask if I bought my car there. I respond, "I tried to, unfortunately!!"
