a friend of mine with a sti says he loves them and cant imagine getting a different tire again for as long as its competitive.

 

What about for all around Driving? I heard they were noisy, what else? Can someone explain the treadware number to me. I am not sure how that translates into miles. That said, I have a set of snowtires so treadwear is not an issue for me. I have 65k miles on my 06 G now and I am still running the original OEM tires for summer driving. That said, they are tired and need to be replaced. So, what else is everyone running? Also, what are some good recommendations for size replacements if a tire manufacturer does not make the tire in the OEM size?

 

Search UTOG on tirerack or google. But each maker's ratings are diff so the # is only relative to each maker's tires. But it's a good general measuring stick.

Go to tirerack.com, run your make model and search what they come with and read the reviews. Tires have been discussed here many times.
