I am going to look at a set of Volk Te37s and in my area there has been a lot of guys running fake volks. Supposedly some guy sell fake ones??

Anyways he's asking $2500 so that's a pretty volk price haha. But is there anyway to tell if they are legit or not?

 

usually they all have some stamp of there approval or sticker in the inner barrel , i forgot where theres a link to show it but thats what they have i believe

 

^^Yep this would be the best way. Also I'd imagine the center cap would look rigged somehow, to make the Volk cap work with wheels they weren't designed for.

 

I didn't know there are volk replicas but I'd guess the reverse side of the wheel should have volk stamped somewhere.

You can. Honestly, the first answer was the best. On the inner barrel there should be a sticker that says Rays or Volk Racing with the wheel model, size, offset, etc. If that sticker is not there, don't buy it.

You can also take a look at the valvestem cap, the Rays ones are blue. Although they're easily stolen or lost so the absence of them doesn't necessarily mean that they're fake.

If you're so unsure of the wheels, I would just wait it out for a legit seller. $2500 like you said, is a real Volk price, you can no doubt find another set of TE37's in that price range from a more reputable seller.
