TPMS odity

So I have my brothers rims off his Z now and he has my old ones. Everything seemed fine until I hit the freeway. When I first turn on and drive around I get no light but after about an hour of highway speeds my TPMS light comes on. I checked the pressures and everything was ok. If I turn off the car and back on everything is fine again until I get back up to freeway speeds. This has been consistent over a few weeks. Any ideas? Didnt have any issues with my old setup. My new setup had no issues on my brothers Z.

I have been experiencing the exact same thing with my Nismo LMGT4s that I've been running for the last few months. After about an hour on the freeway the TPMS light goes on, freaked me out the first time it happened as I was on my way to HIN Pleasanton. I had to get out the car at 12am in the dark and check my tire pressure, everything checked out fine. Bad TPMS?

Ah ok well atleast I know I'm not crazy now. If it was bad why would it only go off at fwy speeds? And why did it have no issue when on my brothers Z? Maybe theres some kind of reset procedure?

So I checked the factory service manual. When I turn my switch to "on" the light stays on for 1 sec then turns off which according to the manual says:

All wheel transmitters
are “activated”
(working).

the tpms transmitters need to be synced to your car. if you put your stock wheels on your brothers car, he will get the light after an hour too. the tramsmitters are programed to work to a certain car.

The dealer should be able to re-sync them. I don't know why this only happens during highway driving, because the diagnostic says they are detected. Otherwise the light would turn on immediately. I guess its just some weirdo glitch?
