Tires on right side show more wear than left? Wierd!

I have a 2007 g35 sedan. I'm getting towards the end of my tire life with 36,000 mile on the OEM Goodyear RS-A. I've got about 3-4K miles left on the tread. I drive in a mostly dry climate here in L.A.

Strangely, when looking at the tires, the right front and back have the same amount of wear but are more worn overall than the left side. The wear is even so I don't think it's alignment. I don't have anyone or thing heavy that travels in the right side of the car. How can this happen?

I rotate the tires only front to back.

Thanks,
Bruce

Interesting that you post this. My rear tires are getting close to replacement and the right rear one has less tread thickness than the left...weird.

When you accelerate the weight shifts to the right side. Do you turn right more than left? All it takes is 5-10% more right turns.

When you get alignments every 6 months do you check the calibration of the machine/rack.
Common when rear thrust angle is off even 0.02 degrees. The problem is static [sitting still]alignment with worn suspension bushings is somewhat worthless considering how the system behaves at 60 mph.
