18 coupe powedercoating
18 coupe powedercoating
I have somone offering 4-18inch coupe's, Selling them for 650 shipped good price? I was thinking of getting them powedercoated and run 20mm spacers. I currently have 7 spoke 17's with 255/55 on them. Anyone have some coupes with powedercoat black?

i had my coupe wheels PC'd gloss black - looked ok and were really easy to clean.
20mm spacers are bit much if youre lowered - unless you run a few degrees of camber - i would suggest 15mm to stay safe

You're not actually running 255/55's are you? They must be truck tires??? I just got my coupe 19's back from the powdercoaters (black) and can't wait to put them on! I've seen someone on here with 18's in black and they look delightful. Buy them...
those tires are for his stock 17's. OP what color is your car?
o shoot.. you;re right... i didnt even take the time to compare rolling diameters and im not farmiliar with tire sizes for 17s to go off the top of my head..

Heres mine, but mine are painted. I've had rims powdercoated in the past, but would never do it again. My old powedercoated rims cracked. Not the rim itself, but the powdercoating. Once they start to crack they spider everywhere, and its not a simple touch up to fix them. The painted ones have held up much better and I can touch them up perfect if i had too. Just my $.02. Powdercoating also cost around $100 per rim. I bought my rims and painted them for well under $300 (got all 4 rims for $180 and paint and supplies were around $80).
