Wow. Thanks for all the replies everyone! Too bad the poll is almost perfectly split

It actually is a lot closer than it looks in those pictures because the HDR intensifies the off-whiteness of IP. Here's just a plain-jane cell phone snap:

Do you have a 05 rear bumper?

Really? I didn't care for it without, because it lost the wheel entirely. Some shots looked like the car should be sitting on blocks

Then again... You are the IP master, so perhaps I should not question thee

If anything, i think their original finishes look the best. Nothing hurts me more to see a sexy set of OEM 19's painted black.
That's funny, I'm not a big fan of the original finish on the 17's, too light IMO. I do like the slightly darker finish they've done on the newer OEM wheels. Also funny you mention the 19's, they're one of my favorite wheels in black, provided they're time attacked like Chris (G35Papa) used to have:

Yep, those were 18's and the spoiler did snap

Thanks again for all the help/opinions guys.
Since it's split down the middle, I'm probably going to go with the white stripe. I suppose technically I should just leave it as it is now, drivers side - none, passenger side - white that way everyone is happy right?

Last night I ordered the 19s I've been looking at. Only problem is I have to save up another $700 for tires (ouch) and I want to get the wheels painted before I put them on. So looks like this temporary solution will have to go on a little while longer.

I do lik the white stripe though. It's subtle, but not too tacky

good choice with white. If the wheels have to be black, the white stripe helps it from being muddied up (17" or not).

I agree, it makes them look smaller but is by far the best color other than none.
