Help - ASA 17" JH3 won't fit my car!

So I bought a set of ASA 17" JH3 rims and Blizzak tires from a private seller on craigslist. Different threads on g35driver say that these will fit the car and clear the brembos but mine don't fit! The hub (centerbore) is slightly wider that the opening on the rim! How is this possible? Am I doing something wrong?

I already removed the spacer ring that was there... do the JH3 come in different hub sizes? The rims were originally mounted on an 04' STi if that helps.

i think the bolt pattern for the 04 sti is 5x100. the 05+ sti is 5x114.3, the g35 5x114.3

do the lug nuts line up?

the lugs line up... it's just the hub. it is slightly bigger, perhaps I need to get the wheel machined? the wheels are actually from an 06' STi... sorry
