CHoosing Tires

I got a 04 Sedan sand the ride is a lil harsh. Need to buy new tires for it and was thinking about changing the size and see if that will help even if just a little bit. Was thinking about using a 215/60/17 size, I know it is going to change my odometer so when it says 60mph Im really goen 60.9mph. Is that the only major issue I'LL see or is there more that will be effected. Really appreciate the advice.

The 60 series is a bit taller than normal for the car. Could run into rubbing issues. There's a bit better touring based tire selection in 225/55-17. That should help a bit. Won't really get a large noticeable difference w/out moving into a 16" tire/wheel combo. Less wheel and more sidewall will help out in cushion.

17's shouldnt really be harsh(this is subjective) if you get good tires.
