All seasons - impressions from a G35c 6MT

This is my 2nd year running a winter setup consisting of 17" OEM coupe wheels with the OEM RE92 all season rubber. Last year the snow in South Dakota was pretty weak so I didn't get a good chance to see how she'd handle on nasty side streets. We just came out of a decent run of snow with high winds that created some good crap to break through on the side streets. I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and had no trouble working my way out of a decent mess of snow that dragged me down to a stand-still.

I'm part of a select group of nut-cases that loves the excitement of driving in the snow and this setup didn't let me down. Everyone's situation and driving route is different, but I'm 100% sold on all seasons with this car and my work commute. I plan to replace them with skinnier 215/55 and 225/55 tires which opens up a few more brands for options and obviously helps cut through snow slightly better.

I'm not trying to talk anyone out of dedicated winters, just saying it's not as necessary as some of the threads here would make you believe. You have to evaluate how experienced you are with driving low coupes in the snow along with your location to really make that decision.
