** Best tires shops in OC/LA area? **

I am currently shopping for a new set of tires for my 08 G sedan.
I have a set of Nismo 19s that are not staggered in 19x8.5 (+35ET) all around and also am lowered on H&R sport springs.

I have narrowed my choices down to:

1. Yokohama S.Drives (great all around performance!!!)
2. Hankook V12 (best bang for the buck!!!)
3. Falkens 452 (decent all around tires @ reasonable price)

I've been calling various tires shops in the area to find the best prices and service. So far, best price I got through was from City Tires in South Gate (near LA I think). Anyone have dealt with these guys in the past? If so any feedback?

Also, could you guys recommend me to any other reputable shops that offer competitive pricing and have experience dealing w aftermarket rims?

Thanks in advance!!!

Honda Accord
BTW, I wouldn't say S.Drive is that good of a tire.

^ What would you recommend for around that $$ range? Looking to spend anywhere from $600-$800 ish?
I've also heard great things about Vredestein's.. I think you ran them on your old set of T1S's. Any feedback?

I am looking for decent tread life, good dry & wet traction, quietness & comfort..
So far, I've gone through Toyo T1Rs which I was NOT happy with due to soft sidewall and road noise. Bridgestone were good as far as performance but got noisy and treadlife sucks.

Try 7 Day tires in Santa Ana 714-835-3606. They've been beating most shops I know for 19s. I think they might have one other location.

It would help if you prioritized your list. Everything is a trade off. With that said, many forum members have had good experinces with the FK-452 which satisfies many of the things on your list.

^ Performance (dry/wet) > Treadlife > Noise & comfort > Tread design

I've heard the Falkens have very weak side wall.. and heard the ride on these are sub-par as far as performance.

if performance and cost are at the top of your list, take at look at this:

^ I've read and researched alot online..
The choices that I came up with were Yoko S.Drive, Hankook V12 evo k110..
Any other tires you might recommend around this price range?

Thanks in advance.

+1 Great prices and service. They even waited extra for me after they closed so that I can pick up my tires after work.

Anyone using Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110 on their G's?
I read great reviews on these tires from various online sources.. but any feedback on these tires from members here?

Your voices count more to me than random folks online. Plus every set of tires is dependent on application.. especially for things like road noise & comfort.

I have had the hankook v12 for about 4 months now and they are pretty good. Overall they are great tires at a great price (50$ mail in rebate too!). My only thing is I didn't feel that they were as solid in the latest rain showers as my old sets. However I have about -1.5 MORE NEG Camber in the back that may attribute to that which I didn't have before.

I get all my tires/wheels from Discount Tire in El Monte. Ask for Vick!

Tell him Jake sent you! Although he might only remember me by the fac that I purchased his first set of Volk GTS he carried in 06. Haha
