Sedan with Coupe with on 245 all around

I just got a set of coupe rims with 245 all around. I am just wondering if the tires would run in the front with the setup and offsets.

Try searching, I think there was somebody who ran this setup on sedan and commented on improved ride over staggered setup. That and increased tire life due to rotation ability.

someone told me that the tires might stick out a bit
also wondering if the tires would rub if I lower the car with 2004 350Z suspension

Re: Sedan with Coupe with on 245 all around

Jedmonds on this forum has coupe rims and dropped with eibach springs i believe. he says that he has no rubbing. however, if you align your car, the wheels may push out a little bit to fix the neg. camber and may rub. i PMed Jim, i think his name is (Jedmonds) and he said he hadn't gotten his car aligned yet. i have a 04 Z suspension set up and was considering the coupe rims but Gsedan35 (Jim) said they may rub with a wheel alignment . . . as far as i know, i haven't read anyone post their results. sooo, until someone aligns their car with coupe rims and a dropped setup, we wont know yet . . . it'd be great information to know though!

its JASON not JIM damn it....jk :-P haha....

After more time with the coupe wheels, and having people sitting in the back seat, i notice i do get some rubbing in the rear tires from time to time, mainly happens when i go over speed bumps a little to fast.

Re: Sedan with Coupe with on 245 all around

well i just got new wheels for my ride, and took the tires off the coupe wheels i had and mounted them on the new wheels. I kind of want these tires to wear quick so i can go 245 all around. So i am debating wether i should get an alignment now or wait till i get new tires.....
