Possible New Wheels, Opinions Wanted

Well I've been researching wheels and what I want to do is get a set of 1st gen 350z Track wheels and powder coat them bronze, but they are very hard to find. I found a set of Rota wheels with almost exact same look and specs allready bronze for alot cheaper than it would cost to get the OEM rays. They only bad thing I see is weight, as they aren't forged. Anyone have experience with Rota wheels? here is a link to the ones I'm looking at, http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=5723 and here is a pic of my car that they'd be going on, the grill is now a UT style and headlights are blacked out. the door chrome trim will be paint matched and tails are tinted. let me know your opinions. Also my gold brembos will be powder coated or painted black and the brembo logo will be in bronze.

IMO there is nothing wrong with rotas, but a lot of people will tell you otherwise as these wheels are a replica of the volk te37's.

in terms of quality, these wheels are perfectly fine for everyday street driving and light track use, although there are many people that use these wheels as strictly track wheels. there are a few stories out there of people breaking/cracking their rota wheels, but these people obviously hit SOMETHING to damage their wheels to that extent, and any wheel will crack or bend if you hit something hard enough

Are you seeing a bunch of HDR photos that look absolutely nothing like TE37s?? The wheels in the photos are not bronze, but chrome?

allready did that when i blacked out the bezels.. but they werent perfect, debating on getting a set of black ebay halogen ones to take the lenses from so i have brand new lenses and swap the bezels because i think that black would look a little better, have to compare in person though.

There nice but i would stick with the oem 1 gen track wheels. Im not sure what price you found but i got mine for 700 shipped.

That just my opinion, maybe im a bit bias to the track wheels lol. Those rotas are nice nonetheless.

for 19's these look ok, kinda like the Nismo LMGT4s http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=5815

there a possible wheel choice for me too, but i think I want to step down to 18s purely for tire selection and cost.
