right... it was in response to all the off topic responses... just like this post is.
whats your point?
And seriously, even though you have remained off topic with 99% of your posts - not one of them has been beneficial... if you are going to be off topic at least bring something worthwhile.

I disagree with you on the specifics (DP and BS aren't gray), but I agree with you in general, i.e. Infiniti's colors are skewed too far to that "side" of the color spectrum. From 03-06, you had 2 blues (TB/LS), 2 silver/grays (BS/DG), 1 silver/gold (DP), 1 black, and 1 white to go along with 1 red and 1 green (for 1 year only). And some of those colors had restricted interior options (no graphite in TB or LS for 05-06). BORING!
Oh sorry, didn't mean to go OT. Ummm ... uhhh ... I like the 3rd wheel.

it's amazing how many people buy things like plenum spacers, test pipes... or even MT instead of AT all in order to be faster... yet they give no consideration to the weight of the wheels they put on their car.
But, I think you aren't giving the good people of G35Driver enough credit... there are many, many people that care about vehicle performance and realize how a wheel's weight is a factor.
Okay... back to what TSW to choose...

After just one day it's pretty clear, the vast majority do consider weight when choosing a wheel:
View Poll Results: Is Wheel Weight a Decision Making Factor?
Yes, I consider a wheel's weight when making a choice 22 = 75.86%
No, I couldnt care less how much it weighs 7 = 24.14%
here's the thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...l-weights.html
Jeff made mention that the 99+% dont care is probably right considering all G35 owners in general - the majority of all G35 owners dont even consider after market wheels at all...
We are discussing enthusiasts that have some interest beyond just a commuter car... basically the members of this forum... The relevance of the poll is to inform the few that yes, most of us do care about wheel weight - so when opinions are asked, the question of weight is a common concern.
There are 20" in the mid 25lbs and there are many well over 30lb... if it isnt part of your decision making process that is fine - but when others give their opinion and weight is one of the factors, realize that many people do consider weight.

What your poll shows is that only 29 people cared enough to even answer the question. And out of that very, very miniscule sample size, many (22) chose to select "Yes" for their answer. It doesn't mean they actually considered weight when buying, or that they even have aftermarket/non-stock wheels. It also doesn't consider how much weight matters in their final decision. A better poll would have been to ask people to list the top 5 features they look for in a wheel, or give them a short list of features and ask them to rank them in order of importance, and then try to draw conclusions about the importance of weight. I bet that 99 out of 100 buyers consider cost and style ahead of weight, and that weight is in fact a very minor consideration relative to cost and style (i.e. a distant third at best).
BTW, I'm not taking sides on this at all, and I'm not trying to make anyone look bad, but your poll was extremely skewed, and really can't tell you anything at all, despite the fact that it's probably accurate for the very small, enthusiast crowd with a large discretionary spending fund.
Ah, the benefits of advanced coursework in statistics. Personally, I think dropping $2K-$3K for wheels is a complete waste of money when there are excellent OEM wheels available for $600-ish.
YMMV
