Help with Volk GTS - F:19x9.5 +5 R:19x10.5 +8

Hi all,

I've found a LOT of Volk GTS owners running:

19x10.5 +18
19x9.5 +17

My concern with this is that it's a little too safe but after all the research I've done on here it seems like no-one has got these wheels in a different set-up.

I've got a late 05 model without the big brake kit and I've also rolled the rears in preparation. I've had a look at the sizes available and it looks like I can get:

Front: 19x9.5 +5
Rear: 19x10.5 +8

I know there's a fair few of you running some hardcore set-ups on here (I've enjoyed spending ours and hours reading up, the "I'm the new offset king" threads were hilarious!). I was wondering if anyone could confirm that the fitment I'm going for would be AOK (clear OEM non-Brembo brakes). Just freaking out a little as I'd hate to get my order wrong.

Thanks in advance for any help.

GT-S's are know for clearing BBK even with low offsets. I think you will be fine with correct chamber adjustments.

+5 on the 9.5 (fronts) is their "Type C" disk. I don't know if there's anyone that can guarantee that it will fit. It should fit stock brakes fine... but I wouldn't pull the trigger on them unless you are completely sure they will fit.

Anything besides stock brakes will probably not fit.

Why don't you go with +4 instead? It has the same disc as the popular +17 setup for the fronts. You have a better chance of not running in to brake clearance issues with that.

youll be fine with those offsets non bbk, if your dropped or plan on being dropped you may have to run some negative camber and possibly a little stretched tires rear mainly, I personally have the volk gts in 19x9.5 +17 and 19x10.5 +18 with front bbk StopTech ST-40 and have plenty of clearance.
soooo...... order them and post pics ASAP

The only reason I'd go with the "Type C" is that it might have more dish than the +4 "Type A". 125mm for the "Type C" and 107mm for the "Type A".

I'm with you though. I'd hate to order the "Type C" only to find they don't clear the stock brakes.

Happy to run negative camber to make it work. I've just installed Tein Super Streets but I'm not planning to slam the thing. A 1 finger gap between the tyres and the wheel arch is the compromise.

IMO, it will look better with 107mm front lips and 125mm rear lips rather than 125 front and rear. I wish my fronts were 107mm (I have the typical +17/18 setup with 94/125mm lips, though my offsets are at +7/3 with spacers).

I wish I had more agressive/flush specs but I have 03 brembo. I have the typical +18/+17 setup (but with 10mm spacers).

I WISH THESE ONLY CAME IN 20s!

They don't make the A pad in GT-S anymore. It's discontinued.
The +5 C pad most likely wouldn't work. It's going to be really tight.
