Need advice asap...rims and tires

Hey guys

What do you guys think of the below setup on an 06 g35 coupe black. Its not lowered and not planning on doing that for awhile.

Axis Pentas:
19x8.5 +45
19x9.5 +40

Falken FK452:
245/35/19 all around

Finish is standard Hyperblack with a Polished lip.

Nice big lips, the rears I believe are a little bigger than 3’’ and about 2.5’’ up front.

This guy is selling for about 1900 dollars...good deal? I wanted to go wider I thought like 10 in the back - but not sure if that would work without rolling fenders etc. Seems like a good deal to me and thinking of peeling off my winter tires off my stock 19" rays soon so I gotta make a quick decision before i do that. Also wondering about what size spacers I would need - the guys is selling some 15mm Project Kics spacers but looking on this website most people say 20-25mm all around?

I just bought the car recently so I thought I'd ask the experts on here on what they think. I've been browsing around for wheel options and this is one of the styles I liked in addition to axis shine. I know the stock tires are different sizes in front and rear....does it matter that they are 245/35/19 all around? What is the width of the stock rays? 8.5? Not sure if I should pull the trigger or go wider and pay way more.

Let me know what you think pls...or if anyone has some pics that would help too. Or if anyone has an idea of a whole different setup/different wheels that they think would look good on a black coupe let me know!

The $1900 seems high for those rims/tires since they're used. Another concern is the giant lips/offsets, normal offsets for rims on our G35s is somewhere in the mid 20s....If I were you I'd pass on this package!

Gotta agree with Gary. Rear tire size just isn't right for a Coupe or for that width of a wheel. It will certainly fit, but a 275 would be alot better. And those offsets are horrible. It's already a pretty high price, and you're looking at another $200 in spacers to make it fit right. Walk away and spend your $2K on a better/more appropriate setup.

245 is fine those wheels arent that wide. factory offsets are super high. you can get a brand new set for 2200 with tires. so not that great a deal even with spacers

What would you recommend for a setup for these wheels? 19 inch or 20 inch if possible. Im a newbie when it comes to this stuff. Again not lowered - wat would you do?

Definitely pass on that deal. 8.5 +45 in the front is going to be more tucked than the OEM 19's.

I've seen sets of Volks in our marketplace sell for around the same price that you'd be paying for that setup.

A pretty common setup is a 9.5 front and 10.5 rear. With those widths, offsets in the +20's will get you about flush with the fenders without being too aggressive, although you might need to get a mild roll in the rear depending on how low of an offset you decide to go with back there (fronts come rolled from the factory).

19" vs 20" is up to you. Plenty of guys on this forum have done 20's and it looks great with the right stance and setup. But my personal opinion is that 20's look really terrible without the right drop.

If I were you I would stick with your OEM 19's for now, and keep an eye on our marketplace for a good deal on a nice set of wheels to come by.

^ Front fenders don't come rolled from the factory.... I had to get mine rolled flat to fit my wheels.

Maybe I should have said...

Fronts come semi-rolled from the factory...rears not at all.

i really really like the axis pentas as well. unfortunately it looks like the offsets for the 19" ones wont look good (according to you guys) since i have brand new 19" tires (245/35 F and 255/40 R) and would love to be able to use them on the axis pentas

soooo i guess i should save up and buy the 20" with new tires?

Strange sizes. Your fronts are the same size as the optional fronts (245/35-19, 25.8"), but your rears (27.1") will be larger than the optional rears (275/35-19, 26.7"). It's on the cusp of being too big, so don't be surprised if you see the VDC light more often than before.
