So after much deliberation. . .finally made the move. . .i purchased a used set of G37 19" rims to install on my '05 OB sedan. . .planning on color matching to either the Lexus IS-F rims or NIssan GTR rims. . .both whcih i'm sure you're familiar with. . .

i talked to a few differents shops in teh area that specialize in powdercoating, refinishing, painting, etc wheels. . .found a place that can do it. . .basically, the G37 rims i got will be repainted to OEM quality, not powdercoated. . .the effect the ISF and GTR rims has is a "ghost chrome" or hyper finish to them, giving them that reflective, shiny, look. Regardless, i can't wait to get them done. . .i'll post pics once complete. Those rims, on a OB G35, with red Akebono G37 BBK. . .epic.

UPDATE. ..here's a quick photo i took at the painter's place. . .still gotta put clear coat on but they look SICK! Exaclty how i wanted them. . .this photo doesn't do any justice, especially when the light hits it. . .it was cloudy today, so no good shots with the sun. Regardless, it'll be done by early next week!

thanks, the anticipation is killing me. . .won't be for another 2 weeks before i get the rims in the mail, than a week to paint and fully cure. . .
