R 20" x 10" +40 offset 285/30/20

in reading the replies most of u say don't worry about the rim size as long as the diameter/height of the wheel and tire is the same. where can i find if 245/35/20 is the same height as 285/30/20?

and stagger wheels, even 20" wheels will work????

thanks in advance
Those tires are the same diameter (26.7"), so they'll work fine. Try http://www.tirerack.com to get specs on tire sizes. Brand isn't really important because all makes in a particular size are going to be within .1" of each other. And yes, as stated above several times, the wheel dimensions are pretty much irrelevant. Tire size is the only factor that matters. And many people on here are running 20's with those sized tires.

My only concern, and many here will agree with me, is that 4 new wheels for that low of a price probably means they just aren't that strong. Hit a pothole with some OEMs or quality aftermarkets and you're probably fine, hit it with cheap wheels and you've got a bent rim. It's a huge repair hassle no matter what, but now you might have to find a matching replacement for a possibly obscure wheel.

If you want an 18" wheel, the best and cheapest thing you could do is find some Coupe 18's or Sedan Sport 18's. Or look for some other Infiniti/Nissan wheels like Z Sport Editions or something from an M. Or go aftermarket and spend the money to at least get a name brand.

If you're worried about bending one and then not being able to find a replacement, you could just order 5 wheels

They aren't available all the time, but they do show up pretty regularly. Also check Craigslist and some of the other G35 site (G35NYC, G35Frenzy, etc.).

He does live in New Joisey, so maybe 6 would be better.
