Wheel Question

I'm looking for a set of wheels for my car since i just lowered in on BC coils. I thought i could live with the factory rim, but now i want it to look clean w/ the drop. Im really looking for a 19" rim. I really liked the tsw volcanos, but im not sure if theyll fit or not. the front would be 19x8 with a +40 offset and the rear would be 19x9.5 with i believe a +42 offset.

Would these wheels work on my car, i know the offsets kind of high and not that aggressive, but id correct that w/ spacers later on, or would i need spacers just to make them fit?

Here's a pic of the wheel:

Just saw a set of Works VSXX wheels last night here on Driver with tires for $2800. Now that's a cool set up unlike what you posted above, no those offsets are wrong s/b in the low 20s.... Why buy wheels where you need spacers, buy the right wheel to begin with!

not a fan of work wheels and im on a budget right not...actually i think the tsw volcanos look alot like the rays g games rims personally...

my friend with a lexus is350 sold his rims to one of my friends w/ a g35 and they fit and i believe they also had high offsets like in the +40s. so would a +40 offset fit on the car or would it not clear w/o a spacer?

Instead of getting spacers, just order the rims with the correct offsets.

OEM spacing is +30... So I would get 10mm spacers because those are so damn high.

I believe I answered this already, 40 is way to high and might even rub inside your wheelwells when turning sharply. Imagine driving, going into a turn and the tire rubs and jerks the wheel out of your hand....sacry stuff!

b/c they dont make the wheels in any other offset...

thats what i was asking if i needed spacers at the same time as ordering the rims if i do go this route...like i said my friends has a g35 and bought a set of rims off of another of our friends that owned an is350 and those have high offsets, thats why i was jw how they worked...

Sounds like your set on the wheels so buy them and work the rest out.

See, that was easy!!

Get wheels that fit the car otherwise you're going to regret it later
