Getting 20" rims but need to figure tire size

I believe the correct size should be 245 30 20 F and 275 30 20 R but will the 30 series go bald faster compared to 35 series? Also I know 20" will be heavy 28lb, ouch... so what is the lightest tire on the market? Thanks for the info.

those sizes will work, but many opt for a 285 30 in the rear (especially with the power you have). also, some people run 245 35s up front to minimize fender gap...its very close to the OEM outside diameter, but you do run more risk of rubbing.

Thnks I wanted to run 245 35 20 front and 285 30 20 rears but when I did the wheel calculator it gave me those tire size.

Also I was thinking about running ps2 rear n continental dws front to save money, is that a bad move? Someone told me that ps2 shaves off like 5 lbs per tire compared to other tires.... Any truth to that?

i have the dws and I love them, ive only had them on for about 600 miles but they perform great

im running 245/35/20 up front and dont rub... are you on stock suspension? If so, i would recommend going with 35 series to kill some fender gap. heres how it looks on mine stock suspension

im on coilovers now so I'm not too worry about feeling in the gaps. I just want a non bouchy ride without eating up my tires.

its hard to go wrong with PS2's man. as for the tire size calculator, yes, the sizes it gave you are correct, but the 285/30 & 245/35 (or even 255/30) combo is still very close to OEM spec. many ppl go that route with no issues.

it really depends on wheel widths and offsets...

245/35 and 285/30 are gonna rub on aggressive offsets.

what is consider aggressive? I ordered 20X 9.5 +20 F 20X10.5 +17 R T1S. I really dont want to roll my fenders so will I still rub? I'm probably going with a finger wheel gap all around.

you may need a mild roll in the rear depending on the tire width you choose. just stick with the 275 to be safe.

you will likely need a slight roll in the back unless you are running a bit og negative camber.

^ what they said.

fronts should be ok but expect rubbing on full turns and going up driveways. heck i even rub with my 235/35/20 and my fronts are rolled flat!
