18x8.5 Offset ET45 forged 16lbs $300?

So ive been searching for days on about every site that has anything to do with a wheel and i just found these... Not your average price for these kind of specs, the bolt pattern matches the G but im guessing they look awful and would have to run spacers? Why is price so low?

If someone can find me a picture of them on a coupe that would be sweet, but i did find a half a$$ picture of a sedan which looks to have these rims....

Here are some comparisons i found that fit the G35..

**Prices are rough estimates**
18x8.5 16lbs $700 Volk CE28N
18x8.5 16lbs $800 Volk TE37 Mag

The Axis Circuit...

I see that some of the forgestar's are created by "Flow-Forming"
Their forged wheels are pricey like all the others...

Forgestar's flowforming process is a unique solution to a common problem – how to make a wheel both light and strong.

This specialized process begins with a low pressure type of casting and uses a special machine that spins the initial casting, heats the outer portion of the casting and then uses steel rollers pressed against the rim area to pull the rim to its final width and shape. The combination of the heat, pressure and spinning create a rim area with the strength similar to a forged wheel. During Flow Forming, the pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. The resulting grain structure within the alloy of the wheel is linear, flowing in a single direction.

This grain structure pattern, combined with the exceptional quality of casting required for the process, gives the rim area of the wheel huge mechanical strength, and elongation. As a result of these mechanical characteristics, Forgestar is able to reduce the thickness of the rim area resulting in reduced weight, without compromising strength and resistance to impact.

I wonder how much different this is compared to a forged wheel....

well I'd say they are the best looking of the strongest wheels for the price.. if you want light and strong you'll need forged monoblock like te37s but those cost much more... I think a lot of people had problems ordering from forgestar so beware

i love my Forgestar's, flow forming is pretty popular right now. a lot of other companies are doin' it, to include; Enkei/AME and SSR.

for starters, Rays makes those wheels for Axis. you get the same quality without paying for the name. those wheels are actually almost identical to gram light 57F that used to go for about $600.

On another hand, the width and offset is very very weak for the G35C. I wouldn think twice about buying them....

you can look into Enkei RPF1, 5 zigen FNORC1 and OZ ulterallegera for less and about the same weight.
