Ideal offset for g35x?

What exactly is the offset? what does it measure?

Whats the ideal offset for the g35x?

Im planning to get the axis pentas, front 19"x8.5" with 35 offset and rear 19"x9.5" with 45offset.

How would this look?

You guys think i would need to roll my fenders? would this setup rub?
im going to lower my car as well
thanks

For reference, I run +30 on 18x8s and they sit near flush with my fender.

Since you have an X and will be running a staggered set up, make sure you get tires that have the same rolling diameter so you dont screw your transfer case.

On my X im running 19x8.5 +33 in the rear and it would be extremely close to flush if i had a camber kit. Im dropped tho about 2 inches so idk how that would relate to your ride height.

^^+1
You need to run the same diameter tires tho, thats very important

I am running 19x9 +32 with a 15mm spacer might go with 20 and for the rear 19x10 +32 with a 10mm spacer.

Yes I do and probably running a good amount of camber. I guess I should get that checked.

Right now i'm running 19x8.5 +28 and 19x9.5+42. You need a 265/35/19 or 255/35/19 tire (safest) to NOT rub. I have a 275/35/19 tire in the back and rub a little bit. I'm going to have to roll my fenders. UP front, I don't believe I rub with a 245/35/19 tire but I'm just going to roll it just in case.

so i find out that the miro 19 x 8.5s come in 15 for offset and the 19 x 9.5 in 20.

school me on the whole offset thing and tell me what i should ideally have for offset on my 07 X sedan for a non staggered 19s setup? i heard i would have to stretch my tires and run a -ve camber, neither of which i have any idea of.

i just dont wanna mess up my AWD...;-/

p.s. the ASAs come with Offset: 45mm

Explains offset ^

http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp

Play with that calculator a bit and it will help you understand a little more. Put the specs of your current wheels, then the set you want to change to.

The desired offset will also depend upon what the width of the wheel is.
The wider the wheel is the higher (+) the offset would need to be to acheive the same look.

I.E.
a 19"x8" wheel with a 25mm offset will fit the same as
a 19"x9" with a 38mm offset. As far as being flush with the fender.

i might have to give up on the Miros, the 5 x 114.3 pattern that they have have 19x8.5 15 offset and 19x9.5 20 offset.if i want the 45 offset one, that has a different patterna nd it would cost me more to drill them my pattern/..;-/ q

The +45mm offset would work for the 9.5's, but unless you plan to lower the car a ways and stretch the tires the +20mm wont work.
+40 for the 9.5 and +30 for the 8.5 would sit nice.
