I want to drop my car.

I want to drop my car.
I'm looking to drop my coupe and I'm wondering what you all reccomend for the best ride quality/look. I have the 18's on there and probably wouldnt go any higher than 19's if i went aftermarket. Are the Tein S-techs good? H-techs? and what are the differences? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: I want to drop my car.
I'm going with the H-Tech's because I'm in NY and don't want to bottom out everywhere. The S-Tech's drop is Front -1.2/ -0.9 Rear and H-Tech's drop is Front / -0.3 Rear
Besides drop I'm not really sure on differences of ride quality or anything like that.

Re: I want to drop my car.
Go witht he 350z RSR Down springs or any RSR product made for the 350z, the handling and spring rate is ridiculous with a GREAT drop that's even from front to back, i am swapping mine out for them!

Re: I want to drop my car.
i am also interested in dropping my car, leaning toward tein s-techs
however, ive seen a few pictures of dropped g's with stock 18s and the rear seems to go deep into the fender. im not sure if its just the camera angle thats the only thing keeping me from buying at the moment. any insight from those with stock rims and lowering springs?

Re: I want to drop my car.
I am running TEIN S.Tech's on my car and I love it. I have had them on for about a year. Here is a link to my Gallery and you can compare pictures from stock, to the day I put the springs on, to a few months afterwards. Lots of different angles and will hopefully give you guys some feedback. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the springs, be more than glad to help you guys out.

Re: I want to drop my car.
Hey SilverG35C... Any camber and toe issues with those spings. That's exactly what I want only IF I can get a slight drop like that (So the front wheels fit the fenders bettter) but I don't want to have to buy Camber / Toe correction arms. Anyone know good springs that do this?

Re: I want to drop my car.
The springs ideally would not matter on whether or not the camber/toe issue occurs. It's mostly how low your car goes - in any situation where you are lowering your vehicle, you are going to experience camber and toe issues...the lower you go, the more extreme they are.
As for me, I have had the car lowered on the springs for about a year now with no real issues that have caused me to get an alignment. I haven't seen any extreme wear on the tires that can warrant me spending the money to get it back into factory spec.
"Good or bad" springs are going to cause camber/toe issues - the lower it is, the more extreme it is. The less of a drop, the less of an issue.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Re: I want to drop my car.
another vote for tein S-tech springs. i love the drop. ride is a bit harsh over the bumps, but not something you can't tolerate.

Re: I want to drop my car.
So which springs should I go with do you guys think? Definatly not the Ebiach Pro kit... i'm sort of torn between the Tein H-Tech and S-Tech. I prefer the drop on the S-Tech but ONLY IF there are no camber correction arms needed. If there are I will get the H-Tech. Can anyone give me a description in the perforamance difference between the two?
