Brake kits?
Hi, has any one change brake kits on their cars yet?
how much does it really cost, and if you do front you have to generally do back as well right. I have seen some expensive big break kits..but thats big, wouldnt we get smaller kits for a little cheaper..but that perform better than the ones we have std and also are red in color..
also what all is part of the kit..dont you get the rotors for like 100 bucks and pads and all for 60-70 bucks each then where does the extra cost come from?
How much would it cost to put them on?
Thanks guys..

Re: Brake kits?
I have this site
http://infinitipa.zoovy.com/category/brakeupgrades
now I cant figure whats the difference between the different kits here and then whats the difference between these and the oem brakes..
also how is this brand AP Racing?
I see 2 different types of rotors one with wholes and the other with lines? how are they different? Advantages?

Re: Brake kits?
Hum....they are all pretty pricey. You can go from Stoptech, Rotora, WIlwoods, AP racing, or really expensive Project mu, Endless or Alcon.
BIgger rotors means you can stop better.!!![Smilie](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Re: Brake kits?
lol lol.
Ok serious stuff first. They have their own design. Callipers. THere are 6 pots and 4pots. Only Stoptech is 4pot but their brake kit is very nice.
In terms of rotors. slotted, or drilled or vented. WEll it depends on what u like. I personally would get slotted and vented and not drilled because drilled tends to lessen the reliability of the rotor therefore it would warp faster. All the brake kits have a diff size rotor so see that. Then there is a price diff. Endless and Project mu callipers are forged so lighter and stronger(Thats why its so expensive)
Now for non serious. THat is not my model. Her name is Mercedes and she is Garage life's model. I heard they saw her at a club and asked if she would like to model and she did. There she is. THats a parking lot fence for ur INFORMATION!!!! :P Its a picture from Nisei week(8/15/04)(import show)
