Wheel Offset Fitment question
Wheel Offset Fitment question
Hey guys i just got an 05 coupe and i picked up some 20x8.5 +35mm and 20x10 +43mm MRR gt1 wheels. Im getting my fenders rolled tommorow but my question is will these wheels work? do i need spacers for them to be a little more flush? What size? im going to drop the car with the tanabe df210 springs so i dont want any rubbing. And for the rear tire size do i want to go 275/30 or 275/35? Thanks in advance
To be honest with you, I'd say sell the MRR's and get another set of wheels. Those widths and offsets aren't even aggressive on a sedan, let alone a coupe.
If you can't sell them and go for wheels with more aggressive offsets, then I'd say go for 25mm spacer front/rear.
You want to go for 275/30 for the rear tires.

Yeah they'll tuck quite a bit after you drop the car.
You can always get the spacers like I said but if you are able to sell them and get a new set it would be even better. You'll get more lip out of it on wider wheels.

Yeah the 25mm should do the job. As str8dum1 said, you could go for 30mm in the rear but it would make the rear a little more aggressive than the front. (You could go for 30mm front and back to make it even more flush)
Just make sure you get no less than 25mm all around and you'll be fine.

just remember get some very good set of spacers if you plan to run 25mm or more, i would settle for ichiba v2 at minimum, also, going with 25mm spacers or higher will always cause more problems down the road compared to 15mm spacers, in fact slapping on spacers at all will cause more ware on the bearings, not so much so fast, but it will be a little quicker
however, if you could sell the wheels for better ones with proper offset and stance, lets say 20x9 +17 and 20x10.5 +15 that would be flush
