I just got my Tein coilover for the coupe last week. Does anyone of you know the best place to get the coilover installed and to roll the fenders in detroit area?

I have been asking the same question on the South forum.
I just bought the Sport Tunded Suspension from one of the
board members for a giveaway price. The question is, where
to have it installed? I started asking around. First asked the
dealer.HA! They want $600. Forget it. The guy I bought it from
replaced his STS with a Tein suspension. I asked him how
much and where. His reply, $50 paid to a "friend" to install.
Wish I had such a friend. So I found a place nearby that
specializes in suspensions. They quoted me $300 over the
phone. When I drove up and showed them the parts, they
dropped their estimate down to $200. I bit. Have an
appointment next Saturday. Still asking around. The place
down the street, Cross Country Automotive quoted me
$360 with an all wheel alingment. So you should shop around
and get several quotes, or find a friend who can do it for a
six pack!

Dang, the shop I went to only charged me $275 for Installation of Nismo Suspension, Nismo Sway Bars, Rear Stillen Camber Kit, Stillen Catback Exhaust, Z tube and Alignment.

You guys are getting ripped.

Import Car Care, its in Palm Springs, califronia tho.... All they pretty much do is work on modified cars. The owner is really cool. Highly recommended if you live in the area.

how much did they charge you?
did they do a great job?

I'm not exactly sure because I had a crank pulley and clear corners installed at the same time. I'll have to see if I can find my receipt. Yes they did fine. If you have other warranty things done at the same time you can get a loaner, but expect a 2 week wait to get one.
