Did some searching today. I'm not going with 19's; I plan to get 18's. Some will say why bother. I don't want the rougher ride of 19's and I'm tired of the 17's. So I'm looking at 18X8.5" wheels from Stern and Volk. I like the Stern ST-7 and ST-10 wheelsin either hyper silver or chrome. I also like the Volk SF Winnings and the GT-V in Mercury Silver or Titanium Gunmetal. I'm planning to stick somewhere close to a 30 offset.

I don't have pics on these, so if you're not sure what they look like, google them. I'm certain most of you know the Volk line. Let me know what you think.

out of the stern and volks, id say go with the volks...i believe that sterns are cast and volks are forged. volks are going to be the better choice out of the two.

 

That doesn't sway me enough for the price difference. Don't get me wrong. The Volks look badass, but to be nearly 3X more expensive to go from a cast wheel to a forged wheel seems a bit much. I'm not racing this thing. I don't mind the lighter weight of the Volks, but again, is the price difference worth it? Anyone else even considered the styling of Stern Wheels?

 

Yeah I'm not paying out the a__ for Volks either.

I personally will be going with a set of these, torn between polished & cobalt blue.
Combined with PC Akebonos, call it a day.
