Wheels & Tires Grabbing the road and stopping.

How much should I stretch the rubber for a nice fit?.. no pun intended.

Smile How much should I stretch the rubber for a nice fit?.. no pun intended.

For all you tire gurus out there:

I'm about to purchase some rims measuring 20x8.5 +25 / 20x10 +30 and I am lowered on Eibach Sportlines. I plan on eventually getting spacers.

I don't want anything too extreme, but a pretty aggressive setup. I have searched and was thinking perhaps the following for a decent stretch:

215/35

and

245/35

you would need to post the offsets otherwise how are we suppose to know how the wheels would line up?

and i hope you are stretching for fitment and not for the look because if you don't NEED the clearance there is no point in stretching

and as a general thing a 215/35 on an 8.5 is a pretty small tire for the g35, this is why most people stick with 9.5 and bigger, even a 225/35 is rather small but still is better than a 215, especially stretched

so would the 235/35 and 265/30 be proper? or if that fits should I just go with the 245/35 and 275/30
