255/40/17 on the front of a sedan?

I am looking to run the same size tires all around on my 2005 sedan. Does anyone know what offset with either a 8.5 or 9 inch wide wheel will work?

I would like the same offset all around to allow rotating the tires for better wear. also, I would rather not mess with the fenders if possible.

I have a 2005 sedan with 255/40 18s and they fit fine. They're mounted on a 9.5 inch rim. It depends on your drop and the offset of the rim. I have Tein S Techs, my fenders are not rolled etc. You'd be better off with a 255/45 if you're using a 17 inch tire, it's closer to the stock tire height.

What kind of offset?

I don't mind it it is shorter. It will help with acceleration tire weight and will make it so I can swap tires between the s2000 and the g35 sedan.
