Anyone know how to touch-up powder coated wheel "swirls"???????
Anyone know how to touch-up powder coated wheel "swirls"???????
got my hands on some g37s wheels that the previous owner had powder coated black. when I got them all four wheels had fine swirl marks in the powder coat but no deep gashes or anything that requires stripping/re-pc'ing.
anyone have any good suggestions as far as:
*products/rubbing compounds that are friendly and work well with pc?
*special techniques for touching up powder coating?
*how to get back at the person who sold me "perfect" powder coated wheels that are no where near perfect?

well i heard that the PC on my wheels should be treated like paint. Mine are gloss black so either you have gloss or matte black im assuming. Maybe a really good detail job? and that way you could also have your car cleaned.
thanks man, i just am wondering if i might be creating more swirls and imperfections in the powder coating if i treat it like paint. what do you use to clean/polish your wheels with?
